Gala'
is a very versatile shoe that fits a multitude of foot types. Available
in natural or hard Graduated Shank.(hard recommended for those "banana
feet " that just go over in everything.).. It has an elastic draw
string and the Prima Soft exclusive Perfect Placement Box. Professional
Ballet Instructors have said that the Gala' encourages the dancer to
roll through the metatarsal and contributes to strengthening the feet.
This shoe is totally quiet and elegant. It is a perfect shoe for the
beginning pointe dancer as well as dancers of professional level.

Prima Russe #702

Prima
Russe is a "V" vamp with no draw string. It is available in
a Flex or Regular Graduated shank..It has a shorter Perfect Placement
box that cradles the toes and is excellent for the more square foot
with shorter toes or feet that taper only slightly. The Graduated Flex
shank works very well for beginning dancers or those with a lower ,
less strong arch and is also recommend for professionals who like a
lighter shoe. The Regular Graduated shank offers more support and is
longer wearing. We stock a 'custom' EXTRA WIDE width in this shoe for
the hard to fit dancer.

Silhouette
is a perfect shoe for the longer toed dancer who has a flexible arch
and needs to "stay in the box". The Perfect Placement box
aligns the toes straight down into the toe box thus creating an exceptional
center of balance needed for the flexible , high arched foot. It is
available in one, Graduated shank strength but can be special ordered
in extra hard. The design is a "V" vamp with no draw string.
This is a very comfortable shoe and wears quite well for the stronger
foot.

is the perfect "V" vamp shoe for the dancer who loves the
feel of an American shoe but also likes the style of the Russian shoes.
With the Perfect Placement toe box and the Graduated Shank, this shoe
fits narrow, medium or wide feet very well. Dancers with a "shallow
foot" construction will find the Royale gives them excellent support
without gapping. The balance and placement on this shoe is excellent
and it is extremely comfortable. Dancers with moderate to semi high
arches will find Royale shows their feet to a wonderful advantage .

Vole' #710

Vole'
is an amazing shoe with unsurpassed placement and balance. It has an
elastic draw string and the Prima Soft Graduated, memory shank.. Because
of the way the shank is constructed. with graduated support , the dancer
can find true balance and does not feel "propped up". The
shank comes back to shape each time the dancer goes from pointe to flat.
This encourages the use of the metatarsal and helps to strengthen the
feet. The Perfect Placement box holds the toes in totally proper position,
allowing the dancer to be directly "on pointe" the tips of
her toes in the box, not allowing her to knuckle over into the vamp..
This give the dancer wonderful sense of placement and balance. Due to
the "perfect placement box" and the support of the "graduated
shank " the Vole' is available in one shank strength. If needed,
harder shanks may be special ordered in quantities of 6 pair.

Don't
Bend or Flex Prima Soft Pointe Shoes.
When we open new accounts across the country and in Europe the first thing we tell our customers is :"Please don't bend or flex our shoes" They are all astonished.. After all , that's what dancers have been doing for over a century . Having been a consultant for major pointe shoe manufacturers and importers , I have always tried to have them change the way the shoes are made to get the dancers off of the vamps and into the boxes and to have the shoes mold to the feet..not work against them. Because we go to the expense of making new "lasts" (the form on which the shoe is constructed) we have been able to achieve just that. With this new design it is no longer necessary to slam shoes in doorways or to hammer and pound them..you just have to wear them and they will break in naturally. We can not reveal how our shoes are made to make them so different but we can tell you that our shoes are all natural materials we do not use fiber glass, plastics, or rubber. It is the construction of the shoe..the way the shanks are Graduated that make the shoes perform the way they do. Graduating the shank , rather than cutting them off to 3/4 , give the dancer excellent support and also allows the shank to mold naturally to the foot. This also allows each shoe to have it's own original design. Every Prima Soft shoe is designed for a specific purpose. We do not just change the shank or upper part of the shoe to create a new design. The shoes are made to exact specifications to enhance that particular model. We also have changed the way the box of the shoe is shaped and have created the Prima Soft exclusive Perfect Placement Toe Box ..this is to get the dancer on the floor and off of the vamp . Dancing on the Vamp will cause the toes to knuckle under and this will totally destroy any balance and placement the dancer has. Our shoes are designed to give the dancer the safest and best support possible and still have the flexibility needed to achieve superior pointe. |
